Massimo ( Michele Morrone ) used to be a slave, both professionally and privately. contradiction? The Sicilian mafia boss doesn’t allow that, it only undermines his authority. That’s why he doesn’t accept the no that the successful businesswoman Laura ( Anna Maria Sieklucka ) has for him. At least not immediately. And so he kidnaps her when she wanted to enjoy her free time in Sicily and wants to keep her captive for 365 days. 365 days after which she will have fallen in love with him of her own free will, he is convinced of that…

Thank Netflix for the fact that those responsible keep importing films and series from countries that cannot find an audience in this country on their own. Bringing works to the people in front of the screens that they would never have been able to see themselves. The fact that various Polish titles have recently found their way to us in this way is a good thing because outside of special film festivals, our direct neighbor tends to be an unknown cinematic country, even for an open audience. The specific selection, on the other hand, is sometimes questionable. For example, while the crime series I’m Sumpf was quite atmospheric, the genre colleague Plagi Breslau – The epidemics of Breslau turned out to be bizarre to nonsensical.

“365 Days” follows a mafia boss who kidnaps a businesswoman to make her emotionally and sexually pliable. This is at least questionable in terms of content, but above all, it is implemented. The dialogue is dictated by self-indulgent platitudes, delivered with all sincerity, though insulting to anyone who can hear. The erotic drama can only be watched by the well-built duo, but it has less charisma than the worst porn and becomes a single torture in two hours.
