This “snap” has thrown the whole earth out of balance. The alien conqueror Thanos (Josh Brolin) wiped out half the population and also hit the world of superheroes hard. From this group, there are now Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), and a few more colleagues. You now have to deal with the losses and the grief. They do this in very different ways until a returnee calls at the door – Scott “Ant-Man” Lang (Paul Rudd)!
There must be a way to undo this catastrophe! Stark, Banner, and Romanoff are now trying to consider all options to bring back their lost friends and families. They not only need the help of the renegade Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and the machine woman Nebula (Karen Gillan), but above all a plan. The group then seems to want to get this ready and implement it, but there is a great danger that this will not only fail but that those involved will also not be able to return. And then there’s Thanos, who defends himself tooth and nail against a reversal of his actions.
The excitement is high and Avengers: Endgame ticket sales are set to break records en masse. And not for nothing. The story fits perfectly into the previous universe and concludes the stories of the individual characters in an optimal way. Add to that the cameos, characters with new assignments, and the humor and groove of the Marvel movies that we’ve grown to love over the past decade. All of this makes Avengers: Endgame the perfect conclusion to the story of Marvel’s super squad.
