Sierra (Lindsay Lohan) is used to surrounding herself with luxury, being the daughter of hotel owner Beauregard Belmont (Jack Wagner). She is also engaged to Instagram influencer Tad (George Young), who put a ring that was way too big on her finger during a ski trip. As fate would have it, a strong wind comes up and blows the lady on her skis towards the valley, where she lies in the forest. Tad, looking for his loved one, gets lost and soon finds himself in a snowy nowhere.
At the same time, young widower Jake (Chord Overstreet), who owns a small bed and breakfast, makes his way through the woods in a carriage and discovers the beautiful stranger. Of course, the lady has lost her memory, doesn’t know what to do anymore, and is taken in by the attractive Jake. There she should find out who she is and where she belongs. But nobody could have expected that she would fall in love with the lovely motel, make eyes at our Jake and win the heart of his little daughter.
Romantic Christmas films like Falling for Christmas are of course available on all channels in the appropriate season. Lindsay Lohan is making a small comeback with this harmless but heartfelt story. If you can’t wait until the big gift-giving, it’s best to get a cup of mulled wine and let yourself be lulled by the snow-covered mountains, illuminated fir trees, and the imaginary scent of biscuits in the air.
