Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca is an upcoming Indonesian action film directed by Hanung Bramantyo and starring Reza Rahadian, Abimana Aryasatya, and Vino G. Bastian. The film is based on the comic book character Gatotkaca, created by Indonesian artist Wahyu W. H. Eka Putra.
The film follows Gatotkaca (Reza Rahadian), a superhero who must save the city of Jakarta from a group of villains known as the White Council.
Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca is Hanung Bramantyo’s third film based on a comic book character, after adapting the characters of Darna (2009) and Gundala (2019). The film is produced by Maxima Pictures and PT Amerta Indah Otsuka, and is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures Indonesia.
