The long-awaited sequel to the smash hit animated musical Sing is finally hitting theaters this December, and fans are eager to see what new adventures the cast of lovable animals will be getting up to.
While the first movie focused on a group of animals competing in a singing competition, it seems that the sequel will be taking a different tack, with the focus instead being on a search for a new star for the competition. This time around, the competition is being put on by a new character, a koala named Buster Moon (voiced by Matthew McConaughey).
As for the rest of the cast, they’re all back and ready to belt out some more tunes. Reese Witherspoon, Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, and Tori Kelly will all be lending their vocal talents to the movie.
With an all-star cast and a brand new story, Sing 2 is sure to be a hit with fans of the first movie and newcomers alike.
