Tim (voice of James Marsden) is now a father of two cute girls himself. Tabitha (voiced by Ariana Greenblatt) is highly intelligent and attends a school run by Dr. Armstrong (voiced by Jeff Goldblum). Little Tina (voiced by Amy Sedaris), on the other hand, is a ray of sunshine and one day reveals that she is an agent of the Baby Corp, which runs Dr. Armstrong has his sights set on. Things shouldn’t go right there.
Ted (voiced by Alex Baldwin), the “Original” boss baby, has become a successful businessman over the years, who may have a fortune but only has sporadic contact with his family. But now he’s being brought on board. Using a magic potion, he and brother Tim are rejuvenated to take on the task of infiltrating this particular school Tabitha attends and exposing the evil professor. But first, the brothers have to get used to each other again and second, this professor has a few tricks up his sleeve that endangers the operation.
The Boss Baby: Family Business has the same strengths that pulled into The Boss Baby. Unfortunately, as soon as the makers try to squeeze a lame story into the film, the entertainment value falls away. Maybe Baldwin should have been let loose when he was a baby – he’s really funny.
