Amy Loughren ( Jessica Chastain ) doesn’t have it easy in life. As if it wasn’t difficult enough to be a nurse while raising two children alone. She also has a life-threatening heart condition. The story about the male nurse Charles Cullen, who is said to have murdered up to 400 people, is not new. For one thing, the crimes happened years ago, he is said to have committed them between 1988 and 2003. In addition, the case is of course reminiscent of the German colleague Niels Högel, who inspired the film The White Silence a few months ago. The orderly also killed scores of people and was convicted of 85 murders. The sequence of events in the two films is strikingly similar.
