
When her older sister gets married and moves away, Young-sook is left to deal with her new brother-in-law. He’s a bit of a slacker and doesn’t seem to be very interested in anything. Young-sook is determined to win him over and make him a part of the family.
Slowly but surely, she starts to succeed. She introduces him to her friends and gets him involved in their activities. She even manages to get him a job.
But just when it seems like things are going well, her brother-in-law makes a shocking announcement: he’s getting married!
Young-sook is heartbroken, but she knows she has to accept that her sister is happy and that she has to move on.
It’s a bittersweet ending, but ultimately a hopeful one. Young-sook has learned that family is important, and that even though things change, love never does.
